    Is it safe to say that USA vs RUSSIA in hockey would be like Mexico vs. United States in any soccer match (qualifiers, "friendly", World Cup any round, etc.)?? :cool:

    What's a better rivalry, USA vs. CAN, or USA vs. RUS in hockey? :confused:

    Women's curling just got destroyed by Canada, 9-2. They didn't even play the last 2 ends, USA conceded..

    USA and Canada is THE Rivalry because the Soviets don't really exisit anymore. There is no Cold War and politics. (well, maybe just a little bit)

    USA and Canada have a rivalry because we're border countries, and Hockey means a weeeee bit to them.


    Mexico has an Ice Hockey team. They are ranked 37th in the World.

    You guys don't have a chance against Canada in hockey, unless you get lucky like the Swiss, I believe the score wil be 4-0 or 5-0!!! I doubt you guys will even score one goal!!! Good luck, y'all will need it :grin:
