He doesnt have as much trade value as you think as he makes over 50M while giving you 18/8. Jabari makes half that already giving you 17/7 while also shooting better from 3. Not really a high demand for a super maxxed role player.
Mobley is worth more to a bad team looking to make a jump in the regular season and make it in to the playoffs than he is to an established team looking to go deep and win series. We are already built too much to Mobleys strengths imo. Play solid and reactively, play to protect rather than to apply constant pressure with speed and fluidity. That falls off in a 7 game series versus good teams. You’re better off with an additional small forward size guy that can get in close and apply pressure to their handle and throw them off rhythm and handle the ball and be comfortable vs their pressure than you are with the big power forward.
Absolutely. Maybe Cleveland is desperate enough if we throw in a pick or Reed. Then trade Sengun elsewhere for a good young player and a pick or two.
