Windows Vista: Setting up Network and Printer Server

Since I have never set up a Network and printer Server
and now have to . .. I was wondering if Vista Makes this easier
or harder

I have to network 5 laptops, external harddrive and 2 printers
[wireless of course]

Been doing my research to make sure I do it correctly

However I am unsure if you can have the Printers and the harddrive
be completely independent of any of the computers [connected wirelessly]

What is the level of Difficulty in setting up a simple network and print server?
