A lot of it was stolen from the state of Minnesota, likely with the blessing of state and city leaders, all of whom are Democrats.

The trump doj has prosecuted zero people after the Somalian fraud video dropped on YouTube by nick. All the fraud was already prosecuted under Biden. They just know how to rile up the cultists

    Surprised you didn't mention this

    "
In a break from tradition, President Donald Trump decorated a White House walkway with bronze plaques for each U.S. president. In an even sharper break with tradition, the plaques were written in a style echoing Trump's Truth Social posts, with misleading or false descriptions of recent Democratic presidents.

Former President Joe Biden, who Trump calls "Sleepy Joe," is represented not by a portrait but by a photograph of an autopen, the use of which Trump has falsely said invalidates Biden's pardons.

READ MORE: Trump snubs Biden with autopen photo in new White House portrait collection

Biden's plaque says he took office "as a result of the most corrupt Election ever seen in the United States." That's false. Trump and his allies filed dozens of lawsuits contesting the 2020 election results; they lost more than 60. And a group of Republicans, including former federal judges, examined Trump's statements about fraud and miscounting and found they didn't present evidence that would invalidate the election results."

Beautiful -- and at zero cost to taxpayers. Amazing.

    GOOD DAY

The White House has smooth Ionic columns that are now 200 years old. Trump now wants to change them to the garish and fluted Corinthian to match the ones he selected for his ballroom. My guess is he will also want to add some gold flair.

(I still can't believe we let this moron tear down the East Wing.)

This gives you a sense of scale of Trump's ballroom. It will cut off the visible connection between the White House and the Capital.

Some other issues that architects and historians are pointing out:

I mean, I begrudge no person their interests, but I do wonder if worrying about the ballroom is like a person with stage IV, grade II bone cancer worried about their toenail fungus. We're in that much trouble.

It all stems from the same person and their personality disorders. He's concocting a future that has him at the center even as he is dying in front of our eyes. Monuments, establishing a new political party, doing Alexander the Great things--and it is still not enough for him. I mean, the guy is President of the United States. He will be remembered and already he will be the subject of many histories and biographies. But that's not enough. He needs to mess with everything from the DC layout to the Middle East and put his name on everything.

Architecture influences society. There's a reason the swastikas and other Nazi symbols no longer sit atop buildings in Germany and we were the ones who blew a lot of them up.

Just pretend that Trump is Obama and then you'll never want to remove his schlong from your mouth. You're welcome.

So Trump is Hitler because he wants a ballroom instead of hosting White House events in tents?

OK, we had hints of this but now Trump has verified that the ballroom is not just a ballroom. But that raises questions. If we are adding a NatSec wing to the White House, why are private contributions paying for it? Why haven't the construction outfits undergone security checks? How vulnerable will this construction be to foreign intelligence ops?

It also means he destroyed the old bunker that was under the East Wing and now, apparently, the White House has no bunker. That seems like terrible planning, especially when we start wars.

It's gonna be funny as **** if a democrat wins in 2028 and immediately demolishes trump's ballroom

Rebuilding a WWII-era bunker with all the latest tech sounds like a good idea. And building a ballroom is honestly a good idea too even if the execution needs improvement. And it all could have been done without controversy if Trump would have just gone about it the regular way. There would be some criticism and politicking but I bet he could have gotten a bipartisan bill for a bunker plus ballroom project. But he had to go and be an ******* about it.

I hope he gets the bunker built and that the ballroom gets tied up in gridlock until the next administration. It should probably still be a ballroom, but hopefully something more tasteful.

Ladies and Gentlemen, your Trumphal Arch! Taller than the Capital! Wider than Chris Christie! More gold than Fort Knox!

So, we've got a big copy of every other arch, but with the lions from that book building in New York City that caused the Ghostbusters trouble. We've also got some kind of odd winged Statue of Liberty on top. It also has steps for some reason, even though the point of a triumphal arch is to parade your military through it. Speaking of that, putting it at the entrance to Arlington National Cemetery is about the worst spot for a triumphal arch. How can you celebrate victories in the shadow of graves? I'm kind of surprised he didn't want it at Lincoln Park, where it would still be on the Mall/Capital axis and he could have removed the Freedman's Memorial and the Mary McLeod Bethune Memorial to make room for it. Or heck, since he is a better president than Lincoln, he should tear down the Lincoln Memorial and put it there, which is the de facto entrance to official DC.

I can't wait for them to connect it to the WWW through that pesky low-orbit satellite system to control the nukes. Oh, and embed AI. :p

On a serious note, isn't the bunker top secret, including what goes in there? We really don't know how much modernization it has gone through, but one thing I'm pretty confident in is - there is never a rush to destroy or replace one. It probably goes through years of planning and security review for changes, even small ones. At least I would hope so.

It resembles Obama's monument to himself.

I suspect that you oppose any good that Trump does for the country because you want a rich, Democratic, elite to be president.
