If the players enjoy the abuse from daddy Udoka then it’s on them. Cam had his issues but they saw through all of this and wasn’t backing down.

    AMEN to that.

And IMe was afraid of a strong willed player who knew he was a fraud and shipped him off for nothing.

The talent is on the floor not on the bench.......IME was never involved in an offense even when he played, he was TATE on his teams.

Jabari wasn’t trying to bring the ball up. He was avoiding it. He got a defensive rebound and instead of dribbling up with no one around him he immediately made a bad pass that led to a turnover. Turnovers like that aren’t the coach’s fault, unless you’re talking about Jabari’s junior high coaches.

I get the criticism of Udoka..,but Jabari is a pro athlete. He’s been playing this game for years. I promise no coach at any point of his journey patterned him to make that play. That’s on him.

We also praised Bill O'Brien after one year. We all regret it.

Well he is injured, so yeah, there is that. You still don't ship him out for NOTHING, he would have been impactful on our bench when healthy.

Ime is ****ing up our rebuild by getting rid of players before they develop. We need to stop and let the process finish.

He and the rest of the team thought the game was over, so he lazily lobbed the ball to Amen. Just a lack of focus. But Jabari shouldn’t be bringing up the ball at all. A “PG” should run to him and take the ball out of his hands.

    He is WRONG.

You mean they were scared in game 14 of the year when the problems were the same?

    Fouling 3 p shooters
Can’t get ball past half court
Picking up dribble with no outlet
Over and backs (more in a season than I recall in 40 yrs)
    Turnovers

These were problems from 1-82 and this jerk is throwing 22 yr olds under the bus.

Last night was Inexcusable from the players.
Yet somehow a coach’s excuses are worse.

if you won’t acknowledge that Cam is also washing out in Washington nothing will convince you of the wrongness of your point of view on Cam. It’s not even worth going back and forth about. So many things to dog Ime about. Cam isn’t really one of them. If he was doing well on the Wiz I’d agree with you, but he hasn’t. That’s a pretty relevant fact. Facts are important when debating an issue.

I don't know what he is doing in Washington he is a 21 year old that is injured and still has some maturing to do....you don't give up on talent at 21.

Look at KPJ 17-7 this year as a PG for Milwaukee at 25........it just takes some guys longer.

Scared of the moment when they don’t box out, foul 3pt shooters, can’t pass out of a double team, no help on defense, not giving up the rock and dribbling head first into the heart of a defense. Guess this team was always scared of the moment. No amount of coaching can help in any of these areas.

You can't know for sure it's a coaching issue until you take care of the roster. When you look at Ime's coaching record (two 50+ win seasons with a roster that can't shoot) that tells me he's a good coach. If Ime was coaching the Pistons or the Knicks (teams with more proven talent) I'd agree, but there's not really anyone on this roster worth keeping long term and building around.

I knew he was a fraud after the 2014 draft. We needed a QB and he waited until the later rounds to draft Tom Savage.

If you can’t acknowledge your mistakes, you can’t improve. Udoka has never acknowledged any mistakes, and he has not improved on the Rockets’ glaring issues that persisted throughout the year. Under that coaching style, it wouldn’t be surprising if young players adopt the same mindset: “I made no mistakes, so I don’t need to work on anything."
