[TV] The Bridge

I wasn't. This show seems to go for excessive shock value. It's almost comical how many "betcha don't think we will kill this person off" moments they have jammed into 3/4 of 1 season.

 

This show just keeps getting worse, but I keep watching. I don't know why.

 

OK, that's it. I give up. This show is a complete waste of time. Each episode feels like it's 3 hours long and the central story (if there even is one anymore) just barely inches along.

I watched the season premier recently and it's just more of the same crap. Mediocre acting (at best), worthless dialogue, uninteresting characters, and 90% filler crap every episode. It looks good, but that's it. I got to see Sonya's butt for a split second and I think that was the best part of the entire series.

I'm miserable when I watch it just like I made myself miserable by watching that last season of Heroes. So I'm out. Goodbye, The Bridge. I'm removing you from my DVR forever.

 

You caught on early enough. I thought the show did start out well in S1 but the last 5 or so episodes of the season just stunk. STUNK!
I watched last weeks S2 premiere and was going to post a thread about it but I couldn't even be bothered. It was crap imo. Just crap. Storyline, dialogue, etc just boring crap.

 

Once this show left the David Tate storyline behind it improved. The premiere was weird though.

 

So, anyone watching Season 2 of The Bridge?

Really like the Eleanor storyline.

I tell ya, they really get away with a lot of violence and sex for basic cable.
