The Bobby Knight autobiography is due to hit bookshelves on Tuesday. Make sure to get in line early and get your copy. Seriously though, it seems like it will be an interesting read. Knight has been portrayed as a jerk by much of the media and now is his chance to tell his side of the story. I have followed Texas Tech and Knight closely this year and I couldn't have a better opinion of how Knight has carried himself. He seemed to be the complete opposite of everything evil the media made him out to be. Here is an article regarding the book release. Check out the load of public appearances he is making to promote the book. Hopefully he gets to do some recruiting when he's traveling around the US. Knight: My Story
For when there isn't a chair around, this book has a weighted spine to ensure a frisbee like toss acroos the court.
Is it a detailed "How-To" on how to try and screw your former friends and how to lose in the first round?
Why do people still bring up something that happened so long ago. That chair throwing incident happened in 1985. 1985. I mean, c'mon let it go people. RM95 says: "Is it a detailed "How-To" on how to try and screw your former friends and how to lose in the first round?" Yeah it's right next to the chapters on: How to win 3 National Championships, How to turn a last place team into a team tied for 3rd in the best basketball conference in America in one year, How to achieve a 98% graduation rate, How to raise $83,000 for your school's library, etc. AT says, "Perfect timing! The leg on my cough just broke, and I need something to prop it up with..." If you need to prop up your cough with a book you have problems. I might suggest a nice throat lozenge.
C'mon man you are stingy with your money. Not even for 2 cents? You couldn't get it for that price anyways. Amazon.com has it listed for $18.17 + shipping an handling. For 2 cents you could at least use it to prop up your cough like A-Train.
touche. But that's not the only point I brought up describing the positives that BK has done. Also I think winning 3 National Championships is far more significant than throwing one chair. But often when people talk about Knight they bring up the chair and not the championships.
