    Thats right i think the MLE that year was split just on Sura and Ward


    man what a brain fart how could I forget Jimmy Jackson not being on that team in 03-04 when he missed that corner three that could have won game 1 in the playoff series and his monster 20 rebound game against the lakers.



    Also Mo Taylor was later traded at the deadline for Vin Baker and Moochie Norris. I think this was made at the last minute possible I remember seeing it come over on the espnews ticker a few minutes afterwards. Mike James for Reece Gaines was also made on the day of the deadline.


    (Man I have never seen a player go from consistent All-star to total scrub like Baker sigh what a waste of talent)



    Still goes to show that JVG really did get the most out of his talent, granted Tracy was 100% confident at the time and that made him a completely different player. Even with those trades there was no business that the rockets team took that mavs team to 7 games. They did choke though after winning games 1 and 2 they had some breakdowns in game 4 and then Yao missed like 4-5 free throws in the fourth quarter of a very close game 5.
