Learned under Steve Kerr and Phil Jackson Focuses on: Passing Spacing Team-oriented offense (not isolation-heavy) Idea: make everyone involved instead of relying on one star Don't look at his coaching record either. The rosters he coached were total garbage.
Ime has been awful most of the year but it’s doubtful they will fire him after back to back 52 win seasons. Next year he may be on the hot seat if they don’t come back in this series
Wtf he sucks, did you not see him with the kings? Literally silas 2.0 Unless you want to tank sure...
Yeah, I wouldn't mind Sam. Has a lot of experience and he's a Rockets legend, might be one of those guys you take a flyer on. He has a ton of AC experience and maybe as a former guard he could help develop Reed. Chris Quinn is someone I would look at too, being under coach Spo in Miami... All a pipedream though, Ime has to get fired first...
I could see them firing him after back to back first round exits, the first against a 7 seed and the second against a Lakers team missing it's two best players. The offense has been abysmal and the defense worse - from a guy who's supposed to be a defensive guru. He's getting exposed as a fraud. He's losing games he should win ...
I agree, I just don’t see them eating all the money they owe him. I’m also not convinced the series is over until the Lakers win Friday or Sunday. I think he gets one more year regardless although I agree he’s been awful since January
Didn't he coach the Allstar Game when Kerr was out for a few months during that historic season? That was hilarious
Chris Quinn -- former point guard and Erik Spoelstra protege. Knows how to play offense -- that alone is a massive upgrade over Ime the curmudgeon.
Ime Udoka agreed to a six-year contract extension with the Houston Rockets in June 2025, worth approximately $11 million per season. Cheap ass Fertada ain’t firing him only to pay someone else. Yeah… we’re stuck with him whether you like it or not.
Hell, even if they find a way to come back and win this series, OKC will sweep them. Ime should be gone either way. Yeah, it's hard to see Tilman eating that much money.
