I'm the early riser in my house I do not engage my wife until 9am at the earliest. I have to go outside and do non noisy yard work.
I need you to teach my wife that secret...she wakes up all happy and cheery and wanting to talk. You'd think after 33 years, she would stop torturing me with niceness every morning.
Funny story. During Covid my wife was remote like many. I still had to go to work daily. Every afternoon at 4pm when I got home, she was like a Golden Retriever meeting me at the door. Wanting to actually talk. WTF. My line was, "Let me get my listening juice" which meant a Titos and Gatorade zero. I would have to endure a peppering of questions on the daily. Life during Covid was tough. Unfortunately, I am a happy riser. Her not so much
Grocery stores that aren't closing for hours but lock all the other doors but one and force you to enter the store through the one door by self checkout which forces you to enter by swimming upstream through a congested self checkout area because they've also already closed all the other registers.
