I know people see Clyde around all the time, so it's not that big of a deal, but I thought I'd share anyway. Made a trip down the street to Rockin' Robin Guitars this weekend for my guitar lesson. As we wrapped things up, I went out into the upstairs lobby, put my guitar up, and started to head down the stairs. Sitting right behind me on the couch wearing sunglasses and messing with a cell phone was Clyde and his two sons. The sons were both there for lessons... and Clyde was just hanging out. One of the sons was playing a black acoustic/electric... and the other had some sort of pointy-looking BC Rich shred machine... I said hi, welcomed him back to the Rockets, and asked if he was excited about this season. He said he'd never left in the first place and he was looking forward to working with 'ole Worrell... He was really down to earth... No pics, and no... I'm not telling what day/time the lesson was... wouldn't want 150 people crowded in the guitar store waiting to mob him next week. (But if you drive by and happen to see a silver BMW 745 with the DREX-22 plates... yeah, he's probably there.) I know some people aren't looking forward to Clyde doing the home games, and I love Murph... but I'm just glad it's not Van or Coop anymore.
No knock on Glyde, but I think Van would do a better job. Wait... That is a knock on Glyde. Sorry Glyde.
Once I saw Drexler at the postoak Oshmans 6:30am when his daughter went to camp w/ me and another time I saw him running at Memorial Park
