please....be for real DD....you honestly think Cuban cares more about winning than how much he can make from winning??? He's a marketing genius....I'd throw a tantrum or two to make it feel like me and the fans can relate ....

    Yeah, I do.

He is not afraid of the luxury tax, he makes mistakes on player acquisitions, but his primary goal is about winning.

Les is a good owner, I don't think a great one, because while he wants to win, I think he wants to do it while making $$$$.

Nothing wrong with that, unless you tie yourself to an oft injured player long term to make more $$$$ at the expense of the team moving towards a championship.

winning a championship is a bonus....Its about the Almighty Dollar...Cuban knows as long as the team is ok, they will make money...Winning a championship will be "super duper"...but as long as I show a profit, I'm good....But undoubtedly I would be ecstatic if a championship comes ...Why??? Because I make "mad" cheddar.....Maybe I just have a hustlers mentality...

We are not talking about your life or mine, and the pursuit of scoring the long dollar.

We are talking about cheering for a team.

I don't cheer for the team to make more money, I cheer for it to win games and be a championship contender.

It is not my money, so I don't care at all if Les is profitable on a year to year basis....becuase his valuation is going up, and he can make it on the back end.

Yes we are .....the point is all these threads about whether to let Yao go is stupid talk...It aint happenin.....Also all this talk pertaining to who we trade for is irrelevant....That aint happenin either.......unless we grab the keys and have the mentality of "what kind you do for me ?" not vice versa

Mark Cuban cares about winning most of all. With him, everything else is secondary to the Mavericks winning a title. Period. He will spend the money but he does so stupidly (Shawn Bradley, Raf LaFrenz, Eric Dampier - the list goes on and on). That's why the Mavs lose money every year despite Cuban's "marketing genius".

Exactly, if he was not such a tinkerer they would have their championship already...letting Nash go was a moronic move.

If Tom Thibodeau or Avery Johnson was still available, I would rather Les fire RA in a heartbeat and hire one of those.
