If he's healthy for Game 7, you have to play him. The Rockets don't have a player with his experience.

durant playing is basically a win win for us... of course having KD is supposed to make us better, but if we end up losing we can all put the blame on dickerson.

If he would come off the bench these last two games, it would seal the deal but we know it’s not going to happen.

If Ime is willing to use him wisely and not just let him handle the ball on each possession, then YES. Our ball movement in the last 3 games was perhaps not the best, but definitely refreshing to watch. We were basically less predictable to the Lakers defense and it enabled us to take (and make!) better shots. If it’s going to be too much KD iso, while Reed sitting on the bench, then we surely gonna lose it again, as we did in game 2.
I guess that kd won’t change his skin and quit entirely from iso plays, but Ime should at least make sure to keep Reed on the flooe with him, so the Lakers defense have less incentive to double team kd.

He should make his return when he’s medically cleared to play.

I’m not risking a KD injury and tanking his trade value this summer. Keep doing the underwater treadmill;)

I see no reason why he should play. If our young guys lose without him, so be it. It's just another lesson for them. If they win, all the better.

He has to change the way he plays with the guys. He has to buy into a more team oriented playing styles. he get out there and Ime just stops coaching and guys stop playing their game and it becomes the Kd show.

we don’t take advantage Kd his gravity and neither does he

I think more than one of us shares this opinion, but I'm ok with KD not returning at all this playoffs. As soon as he went out, my expectations became more realistic, and I got to truly enjoy watching this team for the first time since like...November?

Once again we have that vibe of a plucky young underdog squad that has been missing this whole season.

Every win feels like a bonus, and earned, and it feels like there's growth.

Let's see if I feel the same if we lose at home, tho :p

Absolutely no way. KD should NEVER suit up in a Rockets uniform again. Sit him until we are eliminated and trade him for the best offer you can get in the offseason. We see what we get with the cancer removed and it is much better. You do not put cancer back in once it is removed. The young guys might just do something unprecedented.

Some of these responses are just comical. He's injured. He didn't quit on the team. He played all year, he was great during the final win streak. If he can play you 100% put him in. Anyone saying otherwise should lay off the drugs. Especially the biggest hater of all DD.

KD off the bench would be very useful in Game 6 and 7, if he’s healthy.

    Bone bruise said unlikely.
But I love the idea of him coming off the bench for G7 if he's at 60% and ready to go.

I guess the guy got them over the hump in the regular season, might as well heal up for
next rd if they do get there?

You know this a good chance for the young squad to come together as 5 drafted starters
to be the next rockets team. Good chemistry builder for them win or lose.

    Sengun, Jabari, Eason Amen Reed.
