I know I'm basing this off the playoff series with the Spurs, but this kid was doing his thing in that series. More flashes than anyone on the Rockets right now. He drove, made the right play and shot a good clip from the field. He also played good defense. I would gamble in him, just my opinion. The Spurs were a top rated defense, and he didnt shrink when it came down to it.
depends how much he cost the 2027 picks are way more valuable esp with the new odds. The issue with Scoot he is gonna be a free agent just like Amen you dont wanna be the guy giving him big money if he blows up.
True, but it's a gamble. Would you trade Reed or Tari. Dont even know if something like that is possible. I'm not looking at numbers wise, just player wise. I'm also not a fan of resigning Tari at the moment.
They were supposed to make a jump and they didn't. I like Amen, but Castle was the same type of player and now he's ahead of Thompson. Jabari progression is slow as molasses. He still can't take advantage of smaller player, can't beat anyone off the dribble. Personally, I probably have more faith in Sheppard progressing vs probably any player they have. The attraction with KD was the development of young core, but it didn't happen
