    man i really dont know who else you think we/les should have taken in the draft. its not like amare is that much better if you want to view amare as better than yao. amare is not a good defender and he is not a great rebounder. further nash makes him look very good. you act as if amare is supremely better than yao and has tons more upside than yao. we both know yao has the most upside, but lacks the consistency, due to his inability to stay on the court, that amare has shown. you make these statements like 'the verdict is still out on yao' and 'i bet les wonders at times who he'd pick now' as if yao plays like a scrub. yes he is extremely frustrating because he can't seem to stay on the court and has so much ability to dominate, but that doesn't mean he isn't already a top player in the league and well worthy of the #1 pick.
