FVV money works too straight up!
    BUT let’s add more…
    Here we go
KD & FVV plus 2 FRP
    For
    Trey Murphy & Zion Williams

KD can chase his points as NOP resets and move on from the Zion era. (Sadly it didn’t work for them). KD can sell seats as he would work well within NOP team as the scorer he is.

We get younger with the hope of talent having a positive response to new environment and coach. Just a collection of talent in need of direction and inspiration. Know, If Zion taps in we are on par with anyone in the league. Ime is known as a coach that pushes players to get better. This return is better than most anything we could get through the draft.

The Wizards have a plethora of wing players that the Rockets should target for future picks

Zion has basically played a quarter of his games as a pro, and you want to give up picks? Straight-up insanity!

    Perspective —> KD
Give them what they want for Trey
what value does FVV and his knee have other than filler.

Ime (long term contract) would play Zion (when he is healthy). Ime will / has not play(ed) rookies (do you think he will change? Please, Realize with Ime here FRP have lesser value to our organization. because draft picks are rookies). Zion has never lived up to his hype but is not a total bust either. He lacks health, heart and motivation. Ime is the perfect candidate to work with him. (Let’s work to Ime strengths)

—> I F Zion becomes a portion of what was expected of him we have our missing piece.

yes FRPs will make it happen.

I was wondering when the desperation for a star would circle back to Zion ....

This roster is such a mess, Stone has botched this FA period with help from his buddy Ime.

A washed SG and a non shooter .... that's all you got?

Stone & Ime: that's all we needed, we're getting FVV and Adams back!

You are cold-blooded.... trade that man (Sengun) to MIL and still expect him to start for Rox... FOR SHAME!

    Did you mean FVV?

Oops, yea not sure they’re about the confusion, but I think I was meaning it to be Fred and probably a first round pick. Who knows….. may have been an edible influencing the GMing there.

I wonder if Tilman, Tilman Jr, Stone and Udoka pay attention here and see the level with which the fans are unimpressed.

Their stock is super low right now.

If anything, the needle has moved down since the end of the year and it was already negative.

Fans just have no hope in this squad. They are too smart to think a run it back campaign has any chance of getting out of the first round.

Are we really done making offseason moves? I mean…. What a travesty if so.

We’ll win plenty of regular season games, but we all know what to expect come playoff time.

Feels like we’re the new Sacramento

Just get whatever you can for KD… what’s the point in keeping him?

I agree. His value only goes down as the years go on and they aren't winning anything this next year, I don't care what they say. Keeping him makes 0 sense.

    Zion
    For
    KD
Everyone Wins. KD can run up his scoring totals to new heights. Zion gets a fresh start with Ime.

New idea: NOP - DET - HOU (I'm still not totally in favor of moving KD, but if the Slim Reaper wants out....)

DET: KD (HOU) + Yves Missi (NOP) + 2027 SRP (via HOU)
KD gets paired with Cade at the cost of 3 FRPs (probably in 25 - 30 range). Also pick up young backup center in Missi.

NOP: Duncan Robinson (DET) + FVV (HOU) + Ronald Holland II (DET) + 2027 DET FRP (unprotected) + 2028 DET pick swap + DET 2029 FRP (top 5 protected) + 2027 PHX FRP top 5 protected (via HOU)
New era in NO. Shed $30M in salary for 2027 off-season. Hand PG keys to Fears with FVV as a mentor. Robinson's shooting replaces Trey.

HOU: Dejounte Murray (NOP) + Trey Murphy III (NOP) + Karlo Matkovic (NOP) + Paul Reed (DET)
Murray is close with Ime. Murphy becomes go-to scorer + Murray can get his own shots + create for others. Matkovic is depth as a stretch 4. Paul is an uptempo 5 who has bounce & can block shots (also developing respectable 3 pointer).

    Murray - Smart
    Amen - Reed
    Trey - Bogi
    Bari - Tari - Matkovic
    Sengun - Adams - P. Reed

    Half Court/ Sengun & Shooters: Murray + Bogi + Trey + Bari / Matkovic + Sengun
Alpe goes 1-on-1 or passes to open teammate for 3 if he gets doubled

    Uptempo / Run & Fun: Smart - Reed - Amen - Tari - P. Reed
attacks passing lanes looking for fast break opportunities; susceptible to taller lineups

Zion is the LAST player you want to add to any team based on his health and contract. Now, if you can get him on MLE money and a short deal, great, otherwise, hard pass! I wouldn't pay him more than $15 million. Dude was sent to the bench and still can't make a winning impact.

The Rockets have won more games in the playoffs the past 2 seasons than the Kings in the last 2 decades.

we have to hope that there is internal improvement from the coaching staff and from Stone himself. all parties can improve, it’s not only about the players and I really hope that we have and are being reflective this off-season about the offense.

I am shifting into a mindset of building around the young players that we already have under very good contracts. so I’m kind of wandering away from the previously held stance that Sengun and Thompson can’t work. I know it isn’t likely, but I am hoping that the coaching can help the players out there. I do think there are plenty of coaches and schemes that could make it work.

I think Thompson and Reed would do something similar when the time come on the contract extensions as long as they are happy here. still get a bag, but give up a little bit.

just because his knee was blown up, Fred was there all last season. I saw plenty of Coach Fred on the bench, but I don’t know if he was picking up what Dillon left as far as leadership in the locker room. I don’t think that he really did and that’s why I am glad we are bringing in smart. Obviously he doesn’t help our shooting issues. that being said, I almost wish it was a three year deal. between Marcus and then having Adams for a couple more years, I feel good about the veteran leadership and we could always keep Jeff Green around.

With Thornton being on board for four years we can add him to the list as well. I really think that the best thing we can do is try to build up this core and have it be like a little nest where hopefully a star player wants to come and push us over the top. And we know that right now the nest is not ready, and the Durant is not really the guy.

But, there is nothing from stopping us as far as continuing to build out the core and see what shakes out next year. It just requires us giving up the ghost on Freddy.

    To Houston
Myles Turner (28/29 season now becomes a team option with a $10 million buy out). Think he would be amicable to that to come to a better situation.

AJ Green Reasonable contract, Signed for four more years. Traded into TPE.

    Gary Trent

    To Mil or elsewhere

    FVV
2027 pick protected 1-14 and 18-30. If it doesn’t convey it rolls Into 2028 and then 2029.

So it basically allows them to get out of Turner’s contract and it locks in a first round pick somewhere between 14 and 17.

    Capela

    Sengun/Turner/Adams
    Smith/Eason
    Durant/AJ Green
    Reed/Thorton/Trent
    Amen/Smart

Cut Bodgdan. Turner, doesn’t love coming off the bench, but you never know what will happen and he will certainly get starters minutes.

We've addressed our second biggest weakness, backup PG/playmaking depth so we aren't relying on youth or journeyman.

As I said elsewhere, seems like the FO is looking at using FVV + contracts + potentially picks to upgrade the PG/playmaker spot.

Would anyone consider a Durant Detroit trade?

    Durant/Adams
    S&T Duren/Robisnon//Asur/2 FRPs/1 FRP swap

    Am I overvaluing Durant?
