Good idea. Make sure Eason is resigning.

Jabari + DFS to Milwaukee from Houston
Herro+ Kasparas to Houston from Miami
Giannis + Portis to Miami from Milwaukee
Miami sends #13, Ware, Jovic, Jaime, 2 Future firsts to Milwaukee

    FVV / Reed
    Herro / Kasparas
    Amen /Eason
    KD
    Sengun / Adams/Capela

Defense would be an issue with Herro and Sengun but a few FA signings for 3/D guys will fix that issue. Kasparas could be swapped for Jaime as well if the Rockets prefer him in said deal.I'd probably prefer Jaquez as well. He's a winner and would be very helpful right now.

    FVV / Reed
    Herro /
    Amen /Jaime Jaquez JR
    KD /Eason
    Sengun / Adams/Capela

Herro would be an incredible third option here and would solve some of the half court issues that exist when KD isn't in the game.

Herro could really help our shooting but we’ll have to turn right around and pay him. I’m not trading Sengun for him. But I’d be good with packaging other players.

He would be an upgraded Jalen, but lacks the defense potential. I would pass, unless the price is right.... and then as far as an extension goes, the price has to be right there as well. I don't really like the idea of bringing in more single dimensional players.

The good news is that Milwaukee doesn’t want him and you could probably pull off the trade with Jabari and a few second rounders.

The biggest problem with Herro is that Miami doesn’t value him at his current price, and he wants even more than that. I’d be willing to re-sign him at a lower price, but there are teams out there (Bulls, Pistons,Nets) that would probably offer closer to what he’s looking for. So, while his trade value is depressed, I think he could find his payday in free agency.

If the Bucks want someone to take on Jovic’s contract, I’d do it if it lowered the price for Herro. Jovic may be a good buy low candidate who can play small-ball 5 if needed.

FVV, DFS, and Capela for Herro, Jovic, and SRPs.

The Bucks get some SRPs and two big expiring contract. We get an upgrade in Herro without giving up too much. Then the Rockets should extend Tari and Okogie.

    Amen / Herro / Durant / Smith / Sengun
    Sheppard / Okogie / Eason / Jovic / Adams

You do realize that most of these draft picks don’t pan out, right? It’s the reason we are in the position we are in. People are tired of swings and misses.

I probably would, too, as long as I knew he would sign here for the MLE. We don’t have any actual cap room, so we need to fix most of our issues through trades.

Right - but my speculation wasn't Sengun for him, it involved bringing back Turner [+assets]
If (for example) Rollins was the throw in, then there is a 4 deep guard and forward rotation, with a rim protecting C.

It could be a terrible idea, and you might be right not to do it!!

Way too little for Sengun IMO. I’d only trade Sengun for a true #1 offensive option in his prime. Mitchell, Brown, Booker, etc.

Man the way Sengun gets undervalued around here is astonishing. Need those wanting to trade Sengun for anything less than a star to post their education level

People here are idiots. Imagine if we had prime MJ and he had a bad stretch of games they’ll want to trade him for peanuts.

Tyler Herro is going to be a UFA on a 32 million expiring deal. He's a bad defender, doesn't have enough strength to create space for himself, isn't a special playmaker, similar player to Coby White, Sexton, Green, Monk, McCollum. Just not a player mold that is highly valuable for winning in todays league, and then being a UFA, can demand a huge contract or walk for nothing.

Myles Turner is making 28 mill a year for the next 3 years for 12 points and 5 boards. He's unique as a stretch C, but he's not a very impactful player and is widely considered overpaid.

Trent is a vet min 3rd stringer

DFS is expiring at 13 million

Sengun, Reed and a 1st is an extreme price to be paying for what we'd be getting in return here.

I'd consider sending Adams, DFS, Clint and Houston's 2028 lottery protected 1st for Myles Turner and filler. I'd pass on Herro.

He’s signed for multiple years at value. Three firsts and no albatross contracts is the minimum.

To be fair. Prime Jordan was winning titles and didn't give their fans time to think about trading him while he won another.

Pre-prime Jordan was elite but I could see many thinking he wouldn't win a ring because at that time teams couldn't win with a score first guard as their main player.

With that said, Sengun is no Jordan... he's barely even Vlade Divac and he was traded for Kobe. Good chance Rockets get something that works better for their team for him though.

They are mostly non Houston fairweather type fans living in another state, probably hoping Houston gets worse so they can come in here and talk trash.

Sengun is a allstar he is not getting traded lol..

I like Durant and Adams for Butler and 11

Soft reset, gives a big name and some on court talent for Tilman/Ime, but as an expiring with a nice lotto prospect.

Flip DFS/Capela with Houston’s 2028 1st for an upgrade, add someone with the TP-MLE.
