He gambles too much for steals and causes defensive breakdowns, and he’s too aggressive which leads to foul trouble. If he was more disciplined he has the tools to become a very good defender. He also needs to get stronger. He’s like Jalen Green skinny.

Honestly didnt see him as being too skinny just from looking at him. Also, I know hes like 2 inches taller than Jalen but he's like 40lbs heavier...

Body measurement wise hes similar to guys like Cade, Amen, Lonzo, Castle, SGA....

He seems like a guard version of Tari. He was converted to PG, but I don't see him being a full-time PG after what I saw. It's hard to tell in summer league games. He did make a few bonehead plays and overdribbles trying to drop players a la Steve Francis (though he did get at least one good one).

My biggest plus for him is he's built for the NBA in terms of physique. If he can focus on improving the game, maybe it'll work out. I don't know if his 3 PT shot will be legit, but that's almost a must for him to play at this point. He seemed ok deferring to Thornton as primary ballhandler most of the games while he stayed in the background. I mention that since he did have issues with jumping across multiple teams in college and sometimes due to the fact he wasn't sure he was going to be getting enough playing time as PG. On this team, he probably will have a few people ahead of him at PG.

I don't know what the Rockets expect of him, but I don't think this iteration of Rockets is too concerned about developing rookies. If he plays in the G-League, I'll definitely watch whenever I can, though. I love his hustle.
