I'm looking at the MLB app and not watching the game, did the Dodgers not have any challenges left? If that is the case then that's the entire point I've been trying to make, you must save your challenges for when it really matters, not in the damn top of the third with nobody on base and a 1-1 count. Nevermind, I see they did have a challenge and used it and won successfully. But imagine if they had no challenges left. I wonder how many times teams go into the 8th or 9th innings with no challenges remaining. I'm willing to bet it's a ton.
They challenged the 2nd to last pitch. It was a called strike 3 and it was successfully challenged. Last pitch was a pop out.
They had two challenges left going into the 9th. They used one with 2 outs in the 9th. They should have used one with 1 out in the 9th but did not and their batter ended up striking out
dodgers had all challenges left but their 8th hitter didn't challenge the high strike call. fortunate for astros but you take it. astros did not challenge once in this game
If we would have split that series, we would be ahead of them now. 4 game sweeps are killer. That sucked.
I was expecting them to get swept lol. Glad they won 1. Lets make it 2 tomorrow. Nice game by Lambert.
