They DFA'd Ryan Weiss earlier. And now we're stuck with Imai for another season with his player option. Burrows has been absolute ass too. Dana you dolt.
Looks like imai is in competition with burrows for not being in the 5 man rotation. At this point I'm wondering how Javier will look upon his return.
Idgaf what the current numbers say, I still think Kikuchi & Houston have some secret knowledge, ingredient or recipe… dude was beyond nuts here. They need to look at bringing players in (via agents) who *WANT* to be a part of this winning culture & clubhouse— if its not appealing as a destination or team (Houston), then its a from-the-top, trickle-down eco-culture problem within the organization. (Looking at you Dana & Joe)
that was a good 0-2 pitch by imai just better hitting hell, the 3-2 pitch to salvy perez was also a good pitch just better hitting
Imai, Weiss, and Burrows have all been abject failures. We could've gotten a legitimate ace level pitcher with the money wasted on them.
Imai might be the most mentally weak professional athlete I’ve ever seen. Dude makes Forrest Whitley look like Michael Jordan in terms of mental toughness. Convenient time to remind everyone that Imai is the reason Houston is in a 6 man rotation, so they can only carry 7 RP. Makes it even harder to manage the staff when he gets knocked out early. Astros gonna need Blubaugh to go 3 innings
i mean........ imai did want to come here lol he said he wanted to beat the dodgers and not join them
The about Imai is it looks like he just does not give a **** whether he's ******** the bed or has to pulled in the 1st inning. I don't see an ounce of care on his face. Burrows is the same way.
