We have dibs over most of the AL playoff teams. Think only the Blue Jays and Red Sox are ahead of us so they'll get the pick of the crop. Would love another BP arm and maybe Giolito for insurance. They'd have to waive someone to bring them aboard though which is where things get dicey.
Neither Abreu or Pressly has pitched since Friday… probably at least one of them has to go today to stay sharp.
Over playing Maldy, underplaying Diaz, playing Abreu too high in the lineup, playing Mccormick too low in the lineup, not putting in Mccormick, overplaying Julks, switching the order of the 4-9 hitters fairly consistently... on and on... I mean there are things to comment about when it comes to how Dusty has managed his lineup. This isn't just fan fantasy critique
Red Sox may regret giving Rafa that ginormous contract. I think management panicked after letting Bogaerts go and the fans about to start a riot. He has a ton of raw talent but he looks like lazy after getting that payday a la Cristian Javier. Hard to believe he's only 26.
