Looking for a new compact SUV. I was driving a 2001 Lexus RX300 and I loved it. I would get another RX but I do not like they new body style and interior. 2 HUGE factors for me are reliability and gas mileage.

Here are some of the cars I'm thinking about (in order of preference):

Mercedes GLK - I've never owned a Benz so maybe some of y'all can give me some insight, specifically on reliability.

    Audi Q5 - See Mercedes.

Lexus RX - Good car, not a fan of the 2011 model.

    Infinit EX - See Mercedes/Audi.

you know that the glk, q5, and ex are all significantly smaller than the rx right?

That's fine with me. Forgot to mention that I don't want to spend anymore than $40k.

If reliability is a big factor, the Audi may be lower on your list. And with all of the problems Toyota has, I would be weary of the Lexus.

I'd look at the Acura RDX.

I like the Volvo XC 60. I test drove one yesterday. It was awesome.
