Nets re-sign Lopez and Young

    That's just being mediocre. That's not very fun especially when there's no shot of getting out of it.

    Was about to say the same thing. They will continue to make the playoffs for years, and they traded most of their draft picks so tanking isn't really an option. It's really not that bad, there is a middle ground, not every team has to compete for a championship or tank. That kind of thinking is what is making the NBA so uneven.

    They wont make the playoffs this year. And they were also terrified to lose brolo to their archenemy kidd. King believes that young is the reason that brolo had such a great end of the season and postseason even if they make a bad fit.
    They also believe that with jj expiring and next year deron only being owned one year, brolo being there can help them lure a star in fa.
    At least the small contract and the insurances against injuries is smart.

    Hard to walk away from 20 million a year, even it's on a struggling franchise.
