Lebron should have just asked for his own movie, because there is no sequel. Space Jam was MJ’s story, the end. It will fail no matter what, just based on the copying / stealing of a concept that is unique.
Multiple sources say that the plot of the movie has no actual footage of the actors playing basketball. One interesting footnote to add is that due to Lebron's multiple clashes with the director, the whole story has shifted and has made him a side character, albeit an important one. The movie will focus on Porky Pig, current GM of the Tune Stars, as he scrambles to find a replacement when Lebron on national television announces that we will take his talent elsewhere.
