Anyone else out there think that the reason why Yao took more shots is because Mo T was out? I think Yao needed those extra 7-8 shot attempts to boost his confidence. In another post that has Yao's comments after the game he mentions how he felt good about taking the extra shots...cuz we all know damn well when Mo T is in he doesnt pass the ball but jacks up shots. I think the extra fga's he gets over the next 10 games will be the key to the rest of the season. Yao gets the perfect excuse (pathetic how he would even need one) to take 15+ shots a game and he takes the Rox to new heights. If the rox dump Mo T and replace him with a REAL roleplayer--Ford--then this team will be one less ballhog ready to beat the more disciplined teams in the league.
bullsh*t. the guy got his extra shots bcause he didnt pass them out to outsiders as he always did, i didnt even try to look at other guys when fighting his way down to basket. Yao made up his mind to do it himself.
