OMG, did anybody just see this segment? That was the funniest thing I have seen in a LONG time. They were showing this cartoon, kinda like Robert Smigel's cartoons on SNL, and showed the "Super Lakers" showing Shaq, Kobe, Karl, Gary, and their fifth teammate was a dog. They said they were going to play the "Roaches" which look like they were mocking the Rockets cause of the red jerseys with a Huge R as the logo, and of course a tall chinese player. The funniest part was when then they showed some 18 yr old walking on the court asking for an autograph and Kobe hitting on the girl seeing if she wanted his autograph. Ends up getting arrested but the Lakers beat the Roaches 2354 - 6 or something like that. The guy that was doing the voice as Shaq was HILARIOUS! Just figured out that this was shown during the Rockets game so i guess not too many would see this. I stumbled on Fox while i was flipping channels during a timeout. I guess whoever is in the west coast area to try to watch it later.
That was seriously the funniest MadTV clip in a WHILE. Wow, props to whoever did that segment. Beautiful cartoon work and concept.
"Today's lesson is that, we dont need Kobe to win a champioship" I remember a few others, but dont want to misquote them here.
"Kobe, I told you, don't be giving no autographs to skanky b****es" almost made me spit 7up out my nose the guy who did Shaq's voice got his speech manuerisms perfect.
I taped the last half of it . . . OMG it was hilarious. I loved watching the lakers shooting around -- Kobe was just flying!!! "Conversation my ass. Kobe, you're a married man. Don't be giving autographs" "So, Kobe's got a thing for giving autographs to white girls does he?" "Kobe, how many times do I have to tell you, when it comes to autographs, no means no." "Hope you had some fun, and you learned some lessons. Today's Lesson: Don't be raping. And the Lakers can win without Kobe."
Man, seems that it was a rerun, so I had a mission to look around the net for it but no luck. If anybody finds it, I will worship you.
