Anyone elses gmail stop working on their Macbook? Mine hasn't received any emails since the 21st and I've tried everything I can think of to fix it. Thanks in advance
Force quit mail. Go to preference folder, move mail.plist file to the desktop, then open mail and re-set up everything. Gmail is IMAP so you won't lose the messages, but you might lose some general preferences. If this works, you can trash the plist. Or you can create a test user, go to that user and set up Mail. Chances are your gmail will work there. If it does not, something else could be going on (Doubt it though). <-Former Apple Care support agent blah blah
