So my girlfriend's computer crapped out and she was forced to buy a new one. What is the best way to get her music from her iPod and into iTunes on her new computer? Anyone ever used iPodCopy?

I looked through this list and somewhere on 1st or 2nd page they have something like a free trial for 30 days or a free version. If you don't mind paying you can get like any of them for like $30 or something.

I did it to transfer the entire Scrubs series with my brothers ipod (8G) and How I Met Your Mother season 3

I second SharePod like Ms. meggo suggested. No need to fire up iTunes to "clear" your iPod. You have many options to bring the content to your PC. I use it extensively and you don't need to INSTALL anything, just run a > 1MB file. And it's GRATIS, bro.

When my hard drive got fried and I lost all my files, I used a program called Music Rescue.
