That's not true, but if it was, I'd support it. Fertitta isn't going to eat Ime's hilariously awful contract so he'll get to derail the team for several more seasons at a minimum
We aren’t playing the Lakers, we all know how this ends, the nuggets are licking their chops at the thoughts of playing this team in the first round.
Pretty sure the spurs want to see OKC and Denver on the same side of the bracket. And I'm pretty sure Denver wants to play Houston. I don't even think we'll get to see playoff Bronny.
Denver has a history of throwing games to switch up the seeds, so I'm expecting them to lose tonight in order to get us in the 1st round. As for seeing LA, at least we will be spared of the blatant reffing/fixing/whining that will follow them into the playoffs.
It's possible that the Lakers prefer to face us instead of Minny. IDK. I am sure they are hoping to be able to sustain a good first round so that Luka might be able to come back for the second round. It's hard to judge whether Rockets or TWolves are easier meat to chew. We having watched the Rockets so much feel that this team isn't built for the playoffs. Not sure about the timberwolves.
