Rockets do run plays and screens for Sheppard despite the narrative from fans that they don’t. They run high screens up top, off ball screens, or DHO’s for him no different than how teams ran for Reddick. Difference is Reddick made his shots. One play they love to run is Durant cut up top, Sheppard comes out from the wing and gets a DHO from Sengun (see video 2). This narrative that they don’t run plays for him or that he needs an “offensive” coach is simply false. Lots of the time he point blank misses wide open shots. Here’s some examples:
