51 years ago today, both Jose Cruz and Enos Cabell played their first game for the Astros. And they are still (back) with the organization today !! FTR: Cabell lead off playing LF and went 2 for 5 with a SB. Cruz went 3 for 4 with a SB and the teams 1st HR of the season, a 3 run shot off Phil Niekro as the RF. Dierker outdueled Niekro for a 6-2 win over the Braves. I wrote a short blog for Breathing Orange Fire.
