Dillon averaging 26 points in a playoff series would never have been on my bingo card. Yeah, he was kind of inefficient this season, but nowhere near as bad as I would have thought if you gave the guy star-level usage, which they basically did in Phoenix. He actually looks like a credible #2 option now. Never been so wrong about a player as him, and I miss the dude.
Gotta luv that SGA and DB are close friends and troll each other on/off the court. SGA embracing the Villain role. Esp. a Canadian teammate can't get in his head.
You can live with Dillon playing like Michael Jordan, you rather have him go off than Booker for realz. Especially if you have superstars like Tatum, Brown or SGA which Phoenix does not have.
Yes, a team where Dillon Brooks has superstar-level usage isn't going anywhere--but even still, I'm impressed that it hasn't been a total disaster. He's given them a credible imitation of one the crappier Jaylen Brown seasons. I never thought he would be able to do anything like that.
Well, we international FIBA watchers know he has the green light on Team Canada. He improved his efficiency for sure but you still game plan and take away his stamina on Defense, work his antics against him....

Phoenix Suns forward Dillon Brooks promoted the game in the contest advertisements SGA’s lawyers told the company to “permanently cease and desist from any and all use of Mr. Gilgeous-Alexander’s [name, image and likeness] in any and all media, including but not limited to your website (including the Unethical Hoops Website), apps, social media accounts, digital marketing and advertisements, promotional emails, push notifications, affiliate or influencer placements, and any physical goods including but not limited to the board game advertised on the Unethical Hoops Website.” more at the link
Man, I was team Dillon. I bought a Dillon the Villain t-shirt that I wore to every game I attended last year. I defended him here many times. But I definitely didn't see him putting up the numbers he put up this season. He was incredible and I'd trade KD for him straight up in a heart beat. We desperately missed the intensity he brought to the floor this year. And he's a team unifier. Whereas KD brought division. The Suns won the trade even if they got stuck with Jalen's contract. And especially if Maluach ends up developing into anywhere near the player he has the potential to be.
LOL. This dude is more thin-skinned than Dickerson. Instead of proving his critics wrong, he resorts to legal threat to silence the ridicules.
