You guys talk like Ayton had a historical series against Şengün. He averaged 12 and 10. He had 3 good games, 2 of them were in the games they lost. Hayes averaged 5 and 3.
I guess I just don't really care to much for the premise of these - OKC would simply trade no defense non shooters even if they can put up a triple double- see Giddey, Josh
It ain't about average it's that Sengun should have had his way with him, if he's the theoretical all star franchise player, and he largely didn't until the Rockets were already deep in the hole
I have been asking a lot of people the same question since some of these fans keep blaming the coach or believing we are one or 2 players away from contention. If you put Amen and Sengun in any lineup as part of your main 2 or 3 scorers you’re doomed to fail
Sengun shot 15-37 from the field against Ayton which is just 40.5% he shot 9-24 against Hayes which is 37.5% not Wemby…not Gobert…but Ayton and Hayes EMBARRASSING
Ayton is sturdy, and he couldn't back him down. He either needs to get stronger and develop a few more counters or improve his midrange game. Luckily for him, the new generation of centers are bunch of sissies.
Did you not see the LeBron video basically amounting to "everyone else can criticise my calls, but not you, you soft b****?" Sengun is the poster boy for Sissy centers.
Sengun is physically stronger than a lot of centers. Wemby, Claxton, Clingan, Mobley, Duren, Porzingis, Sarr, Kat even Chet if you count him as a center.
Is he though? Twerking people into the post does not make him stronger than all of those people. You're talking like he's Shaq amongst the early 00's centers, it's a nice fantasy but the dude gets bullied literally any time he plays against a big man with athleticism.
It's not my problem that you have myopia mate. He’s got tree trunk legs and strong hips and he can back down most of the centers which is a sign of physical strength.
Sengun getting locked up by Ayton was kinda like last year when Jalen was getting walled off by Brandon Pastrami.
I have myopia? The irony is genuinely palpable on that one. You think because short for his position and being able to back people down means he's got superior strength despite him actually not being that great at that now his peers have grown into their bodies. 23-24 wants its perspective of Sengun back. Seriously.
Maybe OKC knows this which is why they passed on Sengun for Ousmane Dieng (who sucked, but fits their profile better if he would've hit)
Imagine getting locked down by someone who wears that? Alpi best come back with the fire from his early years and less of the "entitled fashionista" vibe he rolled with last season.
Ayton was allowed hold and hug Sengun under the rim. Hartenstein is allowed to do the same on Ayton and refs not calling it. Unfair to Ayton, sure. Also karma.
guys like Ayton and Jalen Duren are so cringe during the Magic series, I saw a video of Duren hanging with some random streamer and they were playing some of Duren’s rap songs, and that sh*t was so trash I got second hand embarrassment that video was why I believe sometimes you’ve gotta kill people’s dreams for the benefit of humanity because Jalen has no business being in the studio recording those garbage raps
