I guess Kingston hasn't had an offical press conference, but Coach already said he is going to the draft.

I wish they could acquire Milan Momcilovic.

The potential incoming future-PGs are tiny-but-athletic from the looks of it. I think that Thomas foot injury is more of a concern. From what I read, he injured it in January, came back, and re-injured it again in January (?), then had surgery that's supposed to keep him out until the summer.

It’s so hard to know because I don’t personally know this kids and reliable information is hard to get.

What I do know with Thomas is Sampson didn’t know it was even realistic until Thomas’ mom reached out. Quickly after that happened, the focus went from Burton to Thomas. Burton was coming to visit and likely sign and now Thomas IS signed.

Burton and Thomas are coming off injuries. I’ll trust Sampson. He wanted Thomas in HS, heavily recruited him and knows a lot about him.

Foot injuries/surgeries can be a major problem though. I’m always reminded of Lanny Smith and how his game fell apart after that. There’s lots of examples though.

What about the kid from Notre Dame? Is he still in the mix?

Markus Burton? I read he went to Indiana, but from what it sounded like @Nook was saying, the Coogs picked Dedan Thomas as their PG. I’m guessing that shut the door on Burton.

Looks like someone that can create his own shot and score a lot of points, which hopefully limits the amount of offensive droughts Sampson’s teams sometimes find themselves in…

I know the competition matters, but from that video, his athleticism, attacking, vision, and finishing look great. His shot release and trigger speed could run into problems against better teams.

    Late bloomer.

Ideal body size at like 6'9" and with a 7'7" wingspan.

Really loves basketball and considered to be a hard worker that enjoys competing.

    If he's 6'9" with a 7'7" wingspan, he's a freak of nature. Wth - that's a seriously nutty wingspan/ape index.

Yeah. It is certainly rare but that is what was being thrown around a couple weeks ago when it leaked UH had interest.

He needs to basically learn to stand straight and put his arms up. He is still growing too, as he is bigger than before the season.

I like the size that we're adding. That was a consistent theme of the top teams last season, as shooting can win and lose you games, but that size and athleticism should always be there.

The 2026 NCAA Men's Final Four teams (Illinois, Arizona, UConn, and Michigan) are among the tallest in recent history, with each roster averaging at least 6-foot-6 in height, weighted by minutes played. This Final Four features exceptionally large lineups, all ranking in the top 30 nationally.
    https://www.sportico.com/leagues/co...n I basketball players,28th and UConn is 30th.
