This keeps getting mentioned in every trade rumor posted on this board.

Can some one explain how this works with SF?

    Raven -
I wrote a 4 paragraph detailed explanation which got eaten by a "busy server" message. I don't have the energy to retype it.

Francis got a big raise and became BYC. His contract is $10m but his value out to the Rox is 1/2 that. It is the full $10m to the receiving team. As you can see, Francis can't be traded to an over the cap team for $10m in contracts without the use of a third party under the cap team taking in some salary or without a trade exception.

    Welcome to the club. ;)

When I post regarding the CBA, I try to use English instead of Legalese. :)
