Camera Recommendation - Canon S95 vs Olympus E-PL1

I'm knocking out some Christmas shopping. Which camera is better: olympus e-pl1 or canon s95?

I'm also looking for a good deal on either camera. I missed out on the black friday deal at new egg for the canon.

Used the S95 on a trip recently. Didn't get to play around with the features but the picture quality is very good. Only problem is that I couldn't find a way to turn flash on because it is either auto flash or off. A lot of the night pics were ruined because the auto flash wouldn't go off.
