    Tough pill to shallow but hopefully Melton and others aren't much of a drop-off compared to Gilbert

    Losing Gilbert is painful.

    Astros could have signed Verlander this year and retained Gilbert so its a pretty gross trade.

    Really hope the Astros are not paying much of that salary....

    Cohen had better pay much of the salary for JV, in other words, buying Drew from us. Otherwise it is a ridiculous cost/price for a guy that we could have had if we hadn't flinched at the FA table. We could be trading Drew, if he had to go, for someone we didn't already have.
