I work really hard and I also take vacations and take some weekends off - do you? He can hit the gym for 4 hours and still go to a Grand Prix on the same day. What ails CJ is between the ears (perhaps quite literally if the concussions and/or fear they create are the main factor, as I believe). Most of us agree with you and have the same concerns, but these constant snipes because he isn’t literally working out 16 hours a day are silly. Maybe a broader perspective on life would help him relax and process the game better? I have no idea, but neither do you.
3 years into my career I was wondering 12-16 hours a day with an occasional 4 day weekend. Usually over the holidays.
I was thinking the same thing, he looks like a 15-year-old kid at the Y getting ready to run and ball.................my Lord he is skinny from top to bottom. But I hope he is healthy and ready to go; we need all the fire power we can squeeze out of this offense
Yeah, his speed would be great. I just hope he can play a full season for once. I can see how he could get those tiny bones broken by much bigger defenders. Yikes! That takes guts for sure.
I hope he's, at the minimum, getting some of that...but with protection. CJ looks so odd to me with the haircut and fuzz face.
Hannah told Cal to say this. She will never admit that she's wrong. Sounds a lot like my ex. Man she must be great in the sack.
He's been working his butt of and where do we see pics of him? They should take the red jersey off of him during TC and see if he's gotten over being scared to death. An added benefit to this is they probably wouldn't start the season 0-3.
I think Seth nailed it yesterday (replying to Colin C).... Caleb is next big QB contract (next year). Bears IIRC cannot negotiate until next year. Texans could theoretically negotiate with CJ starting today / get his "new" contract negotiated BEFORE Caleb (who Chicago will likely break bank for). You can create some void years (a la Patrick M) to spread the hit while cap rises. So it's smart to see how season starts / progresses before getting "tied up".
