Former NBA Players' Children in the League Do they seem to have a higher potential to make it than the other kids? Looking at Dylan Harper playing well HE is not better than his Father at this point I think those are rare [Steff Curry] If all things being equal . . .. do you go with the Legacy or some rando Rocket River
I have a couple of nephews who are playing junior college baseball; both of their parents have spent thousands on them over the years and dedicated thousands of hours to their development as baseball players. I have had students go on to play NCAA basketball and football, and all of them either paid for individual coaching outside their teams or had parents who now coach, but played semi-pro or professional ball. So, it makes sense that legacy players are sprinkled throughout the NBA and other professional leagues because it takes so much money to raise them.
The killer Bs... Kevin over Melvin Booker Jalen over Rick Brunson Kobe over Joe Bryant And... Bol over Manute Bol @tinman
Just realized Jalen Brunson is also a son of an NBA player. does anyone remember Rockets Legend Rick Brunson? JVG really liked him, I guess.
Rick was a consummate professional. And he did retire a Rocket. JVG liked players whose per game scoring could be counted with one hand.
About 5% of the NBA are the sons of NBA players. About 0.005% of US men are NBA age are sons of NBA players. So, a random son of an NBA player is likely to do better than a random son of a non-NBA player. Though, by sheer number of people, the best NBA players are likely not the sons of NBA players.
