    And why would they trust dorsey with that? or armstrong? i dont get it

    They are joking beause the obvious answere would be Shane Battier, but instead the Rockets chose Dorsey.

    Obviously Dorsey was not the most experienced for the job.

    Wrong. It's to sit through the boring-ass meetings while the union officials and lawyers work out details of the trade agreement.

    Generally, the top 2 or 3 players in the league make a point to go and show that they care for solidarity purposes, but every other team just sends their scrubs who don't have anything better to do.

    But I think LeBron did go. And last time there were trade talks, some years back, I know Jordan made a point to participate.
