I just heard on NBC that Shaq could be placed on the injured list today. That means that he would miss the Rockets game on the 30th. With Steve back, the Rockets would have a great chance to win that game. If the Rockets beat Phoenix and Golden State, we could be looking at a reasonable 11-20 record by the new year.

When is Steve projected to come back?

I hope it's before the Lakers game, because I don't expect much from Steve the first game he's back.

The 28th against Golden State. The Laker game would be his second game.

Shaq was just placed on IR, and thus is out for the Rockets game.

Kobe is also hurting and not playing very well, so we have a great chance to win with Steve coming back.
