The offense will be better next year because hopefully they will sign someone like Carlos Lee. But, unfortunately, our pitching is going to be worse. Clemens & Pettite leaving are really going to hurt. Astros fans have been complaining about the bats the last couple of years and taking our great pitching for granted. We are not that far removed from the days of Chris Holt, Kirk Sarloos, & Brandon Puffer, and I think outside of Oswalt our pitching next year is really going to hurt us.
