Hey guys, I just moved from southwest Austin up to Round Rock. I was wondering if there was anything to do around here besides drive down 35 every weekend to go downtown? I know about Bone Daddy's and Sherlock's off of 183, anyone got any other suggestions?

    Thanks.

Round Rock has no nightlife. Mainly because of the strict liquor laws in Williamson County, and the fact that 10 years ago Round Rock and Cedar Park/Leander were tiny little hamlets. It is starting to improve, though.

I went up there Wednesday during the day for about 2 hours. Sales calls. First time ever in Round Rock. First time in Austin in over 10 years. What I learned: The traffic in metro Austin is just as bad as Houston. What a radical change over 10 years.

Other than the strip clubs (the girls at Joy of Austin are freaky), I am afraid you are stuck in suburban hell. Oh well, at least you're close to the North Star Trudy's.

We ended up going downtown  4th St. We'll probably end up there every weekend anyway. I'm still open to suggestions though.
