They'll settle for a defensive shortstop, a reliever, and 2 starting pitching prospects when they can't make a deal for a top line pitcher and Tejada reiterates his desire to go elsewhere.

A steep price to pay, but just the same, git 'er done.

In 295 home at bats, Burnitz hit 17 homers with 58 RBIs.
In 310 road at bats, Burnitz hit 7 homers with 29 RBIs.

Meanwhile, Jason Lane hit 14 homers with 44 RBIs at home and 12 homers with 34 RBI on the road, though his BA splits were more pronounced at .298 vs. .239.

Only 60 points difference between MMP and away - gee, that's nothing. I too, can look at stats, and was familiar with them already, but thanks.

Well, if you looked at the stats, you'd see that Lane is better at home than Burnitz and home, and better on the road than Burnitz on the road.

So what was your point again?
