It may be time for Espada and the front office to sit Altuve down and talk about transitioning him to a part-time player. He is hurting the team by being in the lineup almost everyday. He is declining and just can no longer consistently produce at a level the Astros need at the plate, the bases or in the field.

 

I have been watching our fundamentals crash since Dusty left that is what you win games on the margins with, this team will not make a run, they are lazy, leaderless and untalented.

Trade whoever you can on this team. Alvarez, pena, ect. Get as many prospects as possible. Why keep Alvarez if you ain't going anywhere??

Now have lost 5 of the last 6 games with 4 of those games being heartbreaking..It doesn't get any worse than this
