Reminds me of Cason Wallace. Few inches shorter than Wallace. Doesn’t have explosion off the dribble. Height is an issue for switching.

A benefit of drafting a guy who is already 22 is that you don't have to worry as much about Ime screwing up their development. They got better coaching in college for 4 years than Ime is capable of so that gives them an advantage over one and done players who get stuck with Ime.
Thornton reminds of FVV. Steady and mature point guard, extremely efficient scorer, uses his strength to bully guys on offense. He also shoots 40% from 3 at 4 attempts. Low turnovers 1.8 with 3 ato. He def fills a major need and at 22 wont need much development from our **** development team. Most scouting reports Ive seen are very positive on him and have positive reactions to Rockets getting him. Thats a good sign.
Relax. It's not hard to see a path for him to grow into the next Courtney Fortson for the Rockets and have a similar impact
