Some people are delusional or they have this internal hatred for specific players. I can agree with you on this situation right here. Thats why everyone that was out there for the playoffs is tradeable to me.

I'm done with the youth movement and development. You keep getting the same results with people that do not rise to the occasion.

If we trade for Brown, sending out Sengun and Smith, it's an incredible get.

Ok, supermax is supermax. But the guy can ball.
It also clarifies our offence and defence, and somewhat balances our lineup.

FWIW AI thinks Sengun and Smith are worth Brown and Queta straight up. Interesting take on relarive values - but it thinks Sengun and Smith are too valuable on their own, and would require Boston adding an asset.
    Not sure I agree

It shows a total failure of the Rockets rebuild by Stone and that he’s willing to continue trading his young players for 30 something year olds.

People can say that KD is too old or he's bad for the culture, but anyone with eyes has to see that this team would struggle to reach .500 without him. That's why Ime had to play him so many minutes - there was no other choice. We tanked our way to a collection of role players.

KD is duct tape holding this team together. If you trade him for another star then you're just switching one brand of tape for another. You don't even get younger by trading KD for Jaylen Brown because you'd have to throw in picks to make it work - you're still sacrificing the future.

I wouldn't mind trading KD for picks and waiting to see if any of our future picks hit, especially considering the new lottery odds. But this team only has one real star and swapping him for another guy on the same level is just a lateral move at best.

DId we struggle the year before we got him? Did phoenix after they traded him? Nope both teams were/are better which means we gave up too much for the old man. Every KD fan swears teams cant live without him and then THEY DO.

@Codman, can you share any insight on Houston's interest level on Jaylen Brown? What about ANT's current level of disgruntled-ness?

Fingers crossed that we're not serious on Brown, I think we need to save all our FRPs for when a true #1 becomes available (ie, ANT), or get one in the draft.

I would take Jalen Brown, but I would hate to lose Jabari.
Would Sengun+DFS be enough? I am imagining not quite so I would throw atoms in there before I would trade Jabari or I would see if Vanvleet was interested in opting in to get the deal done. He would have more of a chance to win in Boston.

I’m not falling for anything. I’m having a good time and sharing it. I think trading for Brown is a bad idea and from everything I’ve heard, the organization doesn’t want him, but would love to find random accounts who knew
