Your argument fails in the very first sentence. The conflict was initiated to put an end to the threat of Islamic terrorist activity -- which Iran is the #1 state sponsor of. A President's first job is to secure our country and its citizens and preserve our quality of life.

The second reason for the conflict was to secure the global supply chain for oil -- which has been successfully done across the world over the last year.
