I'm still waiting, just for fun, for the first negative report that comes out of minicamp

Why is EVERYBIDY saying the offense was doing well except Clint Stoerner on Sports 610am?

    It's non-contact bullshit practice.

However...this would be a welcome development:

The Texans did a lot of walk-through team drills with the hopes of becoming a "smarter" team according to Ryans. The Houston culture is set so Ryans feels it's better to use OTAs and minicamp to develop the mental aspect of Houston instead of focusing too much on competition. -- D.J. Bien-Aime (June 10)

Because Stoerner is a wannabe disappointed Cowboy QB. Why he's on a Texan Station is beyond me.

Yeah, other than injuries that happen, this is the time of year when everything that happens is spun as positively as possible. I tell myself to not get excited about camp reports, but by this point I'm usually so starved for NFL news that I can't help myself.

72 mil a year. CJ is definitely getting minimum 60. Not saying CJ is near Mahomes but the price for qbs has gone up. Trevor Lawrence make 50 mil a year and he's only ever won one playoff game

This is NOT a rumor or even a suggestion. But I was just thinking about what move the Texans could make before Training Camp that would cause the most buzz.

I've concluded it would be the key rotation piece addition of J J Watt after the original fantasy has died down. I have no idea whether he'd still be interested, but this is the first year DE depth has been an issue.

But I smile just at the thought of the fantasy announcement.

Well, now we get to wait and ponder the 2026-2027 season...............6 weeks to training camp. It's going to be a long 6 weeks if the Astros don't pick up the pace

I think this team is constructed to FINALLY make a legitimate run at the SB, Nick and DeMeco did a great job of filling the needs and somehow this Defense got even better. The one position I would love to get another number 2 is RB, I hate counting on one player (Montgomery) without a talented number 2, I am sure Woody will play better, but there is the unknown of how well he will do. Jordan could be a wild card at RB, he is a slippery dude and had 1 really good 100+ yards game but not sure he can do that consistently. We picked up the kid from Yale but who knows how that will work out

Our D got dam lucky last year with no real key injuries and we can't count on that again, but I think we have depth at almost every position on D

CJ, we need ya man. I truly feel this is THE year that we have to make the run, in the NFL the window is small and on paper this team can make the SB.....but you always need a little "luck" sprinkled in
