Agreed. Out of all the players we have Amen has the highest ceiling to be a superstar if he develops a jumpshot.
I think we need to sell high on Sengun. His trajectory is comparable to Nurkic best years in Portland.
How many passes/excuses are we going to give Sengun???
Last year, it was Draymond Green locking him up.
This year, its Ayton and Hayes by committee keeping Sengun neutral.
If we give Amen a max extension then Sengun will probably be traded to get better supporting players to surround Amen: shooters and stretch 5

 

Currently, I think Sachuan ,or whatever his name is, is right. You run Wemby to exhaustion. You don’t even have to be uber physical, though that helps. But make him move. Don’t let him just sit back in the paint. And have someone dedicated to screaming out 3 seconds.

 

1. Rockets will never face the Spurs unless they are 8th Seed Rockets.

I knew the Kevin Durant trade would destroy the team chemistry and payroll, players Jalen Green and Dillon Brooks had each other's team backs literally.

Ime Udoka rushing and thinking he can jump over the rebuild is ridiculous and wanting 39 year old Kevin Durant who burns bridges everywhere he goes. Not smart or having patience. Trading for a younger Star would've made more sense.

 

If it was Ime Udoka, he would say, "We didn't play with physicality. That's why we lost."

I watched the Spurs several games into the Postseason, and against the Knicks the way they jump on teams in the first 2 Quarters.

They are much more agile with their Youth, speeding up their movements, shots vs in the 2nd Quarter......

Then they fall into the rhythm of the opponent......they slow down rapidly...... that is when you get them but you have to make shots, on off nights, they blow you out.

You can never give up .....they stifle you with their Defense otherwise.

 

The double short line-up that saved the Knicks and fueled the comeback last night (Jose + Jalen) gave me a lot of hope of a Reed + FVV lineup.

 

Please tell me that you didn’t just compare 33 year old FVV to Jalen Brunson??? Think we just found Stone’s burner account here!

Just watching Harper play thinking he is what JG should have been in terms of driving to the paint and initiating contact using it to bounce defenders off. JG never got there sadly

 

We need championship talent and the only one we have is 37 yrs old. Unless Amen actually learns to shoot all we have are assets. The only player to consistently show up every playoff has been Amen.

My question with Harper is still the jump shot, we'll have to see how it develops. 5 for 21 from three against the Knicks, yikes. Jalen's has never really improved so far from his rookie season, so it's not guaranteed to happen.

 

I am not convinced he’s a good pg either. Like actually playing point instead of this scoring guard/combo he currently plays. That team is interesting since Castle seems to run point. Fox does as well. Perhaps they don’t need him as a point but just a combo or SG.

 

To be fair, the 2017 Warriors would have been higher if they played in the Eastern Conference.
